I took my middle school child for a consultation. The staff was kind and helped us schedule tests. We had visited before due to my child's tics when they were younger, and now the child has grown so much and become a completely different person. Recently, they've been struggling a lot due to exam pressures and family health issues, and the doctor prescribed some medication to help stabilize them. The receptionist was friendly, and the hospital is easy to access. The downside is that it’s expensive. The testing fees are high. But what can you do? When your child is struggling, you need to help them. It's tough to step into the mental health clinic, but once you do, it’s not so bad. I hope the exams go well. If they don't, then what? That's just life. When you need counseling, or when you need someone to listen to you, go check it out.
