I came in because my constipation has been pretty bad lately and my bowel habits have changed. I made an appointment for a colonoscopy and came in to pick up Coolprep. I really appreciated how carefully they explained everything I needed to do before the endoscopy. They even wrote down the times for me, haha.

Last week I had an endoscopy and blood tests, and I went to get the results. I also had carotid and abdominal ultrasounds scheduled. Fortunately, the biopsy from the endoscopy just showed mild gastritis, and there was nothing special in the blood tests. I had the carotid and abdominal ultrasounds as well, but maybe because the hospital is doing well, the wait was a bit long, haha. Still, when I went for the tests, they were very thorough, and I thought, 'Ah, this is why it's taking so long~' hehe. After a little wait, the results of the carotid ultrasound were explained to me in the consultation room, and they said there was slight progression of atherosclerosis, ugh. They advised me to eat well and exercise. The abdominal ultrasound showed no special findings.

I went to Geumamuri Internal Medicine because I had a bad cold with chills, cough, runny nose, and phlegm. I had taken medication from two other hospitals for over a week, but it didn't help at all, and now I even had a fever. For three days, my temperature was between 38.5 and 39.1 degrees, so I went right after work. Just in case, I had a flu test, but fortunately, it wasn't the flu. I saw Dr. Gong, and he really knows a lot about diseases and has a broad perspective. He mentioned that it might not just be a cold, but an RSV infection that's going around these days. I received a different type of antibiotic and medication than what I had before, and even after one dose, I could definitely feel that my runny nose and phlegm had decreased. After receiving IV fluids, my fever also came down. I'm really grateful for this. ^^

Lately, I've been having some digestive issues and a feeling of heaviness in my chest, and it got worse to the point of pain in my sternum, so I went to the hospitalㅠㅠ I called my usual clinic, Geomam Our Hands Clinic, in advance and made a reservation for an endoscopy, then visited at the scheduled time. Coincidentally, I hadn't done my workplace health check this year, so I also had that done. They did a urine test, a blood test, and after connecting an IV in my arm, they performed the gastroscopy. I woke up briefly after falling asleep and found myself awake, haha. They found signs of gastritis and also diagnosed me with gastroesophageal reflux disease. They did biopsies on two areas that looked inflamed in my stomach. They said the test results would be out in a week, so I'm planning to return for another visit.

The nurses are kind, and the doctor seems nice too. Since this was my first visit, I guess I’ll have to take the medication and see what the results are later.

The hospital has been in the area for a long time, so the exterior is somewhat run-down, but the facilities inside are clean, and many of the rooms and equipment are new.

When I visited, it felt clean and organized, and I had the impression that everything was well-structured. I felt that I was receiving genuine care from the doctor and the nurses.

The doctor explained everything in detail, the nurse was very kind, and the hospital was really clean, so I liked it.

Nurse Sam was kind and provided excellent care. The additional explanations were very helpful.
