My voice had been hoarse and felt like it was getting strained for almost a month, so I went to Internal Medicine. At first, I thought it was just because I had been using my voice a lot, but when it lasted longer than expected, I started worrying for no real reason. I also mentioned these symptoms because there were things I needed to have checked regarding my thyroid. I carefully explained when the symptoms had started and that my voice had changed after a concert, and then had my consultation. I asked about the things I was curious about one by one, and I appreciated how calmly everything was explained. Rather than just worrying without knowing what was going on, I felt that it was a good decision to get examined in person. The appointment went smoothly without any major discomfort, and for now I’m going to monitor my progress and take care of it.
