Comfortable Hope Internal Medicine Clinic

After moving, I was looking for a hospital for a health check-up and came across Sokpyeonhan Hope Internal Medicine. I found out that it’s a hospital that hasn’t been open for too long. The hospital is clean, and the internal medicine staff are really friendly. I made a reservation for the health check-up and also got my flu and COVID shots while I was there. The doctor is great, and the staff at the nurse’s desk are nice too. The health check-up center is clean, but the machine for measuring height is an old one! I measured 3 cm shorter than I did recently, which was so upsetting, haha. I had to take medication for the colonoscopy, and somehow I lost 3 kg! Amazing, haha. I had a good experience with the health check-up and felt comfortable during the upper and lower endoscopies. Overall, I liked that Sokpyeonhan Hope Internal Medicine is clean, so I’ll definitely come back next time!

I went to Sokpyeonhan Hope Internal Medicine Clinic for a national health checkup and to receive IV fluids along with my upper endoscopy. From the moment I got there, the parking attendants were friendly, and the hospital was so clean, like a brand new building, which made me feel good while checking in. I had the endoscopy done and it felt like only 20 minutes had passed. Since it was just the upper endoscopy, it didn’t take much time at all. For the national health checkup, the overall cost was 54,890 won, which includes 10% for the endoscopy and the sedation fee plus the consultation fee, and the sedation cost was pretty low. Until two years ago, it was free thanks to my company support, but now it’s gone. I just realized this is the first time I’m paying out of pocket. After my appointment, I wasn’t feeling well, so I ordered some porridge over the phone, and when I settled the bill at the clinic, they gave me vegetable porridge as a complimentary service, which was nice. Haha, I just ordered the porridge... I’ve never received such service at other hospitals, I was so surprised! Haha, they really care at this hospital.

I was struggling to control my blood sugar while taking medication for high blood pressure and diabetes, so my doctor suggested we try changing my medication. The doctor said we’ll do a hemoglobin A1c test next month.
