It used to be called Beautiful Smile Dental Clinic, but when they moved, I think they just changed the name to Smile Dental Clinic.

 

I was afraid to visit the dentist for about three years due to COVID, but I finally made up my mind and went.

Actually, I had been going to the same dental clinic for over 10 years, but there were too many reservation wait times, and I didn't feel that they provided particularly better treatment, so I was thinking of finding a new dental clinic.

I received a recommendation from a friend to visit the neighboring dental clinic next to the pediatrician's office, where the doctor is very kind, so I went there. It was a one-person dental clinic, and the female doctor was quite rare to see~~

You seem to be in your mid-50s? You have a warm and friendly appearance.

There is also only one dental hygienist, so she must be busy with the counter and scaling ^^

I keep getting black tartar on my teeth, and I experience sensitivity when I eat cold, hot, or sweet foods. Brushing is also difficult, so I visited the dentist. The doctor said that foreign substances keep entering my gums, causing inflammation, and that I need gum treatment. I visited three times to receive gum treatment, but...

The pain has completely gone away.

I thought that filling the many gaps in my gums right away would eliminate the pain.

Since there are multiple places, I initially expected the costs to be quite high just for filling, but they told me that my gums would improve with just the treatment and I didn't need to get the filling right away. They said I could do it later if it gets worse.

Of course, even though the dental treatment was scary and not easy, the staff was always kind during the treatment, talking to me kindly and also teaching me how to take care of my teeth, which I really appreciated.

Doctor always emphasizes brushing and flossing every time I eat, saying 3,000 won for one pack and 5,000 won for two packs, so I bought two packs haha

 

In February, when I visited, they were in a different building, but due to building remodeling, they moved to a larger Megabox building next door. I stopped by again to make a scaling appointment, and although it became a little smaller than the previous hospital (as expected, the pressure of rent;;;), it seems to have become cleaner after moving.

Since I came after a long time, I was welcomed, so I scheduled a scaling appointment and bought interdental brushes and dental floss for deep cleaning.

Dental treatment is really scary for everyone~ There are many dental clinics, but finding one that suits me and is good is really difficult... Still, after meeting Smile Dental, I think I am a little less afraid of dental visits... Are you all going to good dental clinics?
