Sharing a review of the eye exam at Gangnam Suyeon Eye Clinic

I didn't have much information when choosing a LASIK clinic. As a result, I had a vague fear of the eye surgery. After searching diligently, I decided to visit a few famous clinics that were frequently mentioned on internet forums and blogs. First, I would like to share my review of visiting Suyeonse Eye Clinic in Gangnam.

I made a reservation by phone about a week in advance, and the person who answered was incredibly kind. Since there were several directors, it didn't seem difficult to book an appointment. I was able to easily book a date and time that was convenient for me. Being in Gangnam, it was easy to get to from the Express Bus Terminal, and the clinic's location was also great as it was close to a subway station. The interior facilities were luxurious and clean, and although it tended to be quite busy, I didn't have to wait long, perhaps because they operate on an appointment-only basis.

After leaving my belongings in the locker, the eye exam began in earnest. I started with the LipiView test, and unlike other ophthalmology clinics, I liked that they could measure tear volume using a machine. The other tests seemed similar to those at other hospitals. The vision test seemed a bit more relaxed compared to other places, but the results were not significantly different. After the exam, it was time for a consultation with the director. I liked the director I selected because they were straightforward and explained everything I was curious about in detail. I then consulted with the optometrist. They explained potential side effects and surgery costs. They usually administer pupil dilating drops at this stage, but I declined the test because I had heard from other hospitals that there were no major issues with my retinal examination. After the consultation, they gave me the results in a file. My vision and other measurements seem similar to those at other hospitals. I liked the location, and the facilities were clean and felt luxurious. I was also very satisfied with how the doctor in charge explained everything in detail with conviction. The optometrist seemed friendly in a manual-oriented manner; while they didn't seem overly meticulous, I suppose every optometrist has a different style. The equipment is good, so the test results seem decent. I decided to compare with other hospitals before making a final decision.
