Two months ago, the area between my left toes was red and swollen, so I went to YK Park Yoon-ki Dermatology near Exit 1 of Gyodae Station. The doctor said that tight shoes had strained the area between my toes, causing a wound and infection. He prescribed oral antibiotics and topical ointment. I consistently took the medicine and applied the ointment, and it seemed to be getting better. However, two weeks ago, a blister developed between my toes and the skin began peeling. I disinfected and applied ointment at home, but it seemed to be getting better, so I just let it go. I happened to have some business at Gyodae Station, so I stopped by the dermatologist. Dr. Lee Eun-kyung diagnosed it as athlete's foot, disinfected it, treated it, and prescribed the antifungal medication Endix Cream and Esroban. I'd only heard about athlete's foot before. I realized that if I had just endured it at home, disinfecting and applying ointment, I could have been in big trouble. It was surprising, but I'll keep applying the ointment and try to get better quickly.
