My Wisdom Tooth Removal Experience at Seoul Samjeong Dental Clinic: From the Scary First Steps to a Quick Recovery

A few days ago, the pain in my wisdom tooth got so bad that I finally went to the dentist. At first, I thought it was a cavity, but after consulting with the dentist, I was told that my wisdom tooth was pressing on the adjacent tooth and causing pain. The dentist showed me an X-ray and explained the direction of the wisdom tooth and how deep it was buried in my gums, which eased my fears about the procedure a little. I decided to have the wisdom tooth removed. Under local anesthesia, they made an incision in my gums, separated the tooth, and extracted it.
The explanation alone seemed scary, but the procedure itself was virtually painless and over faster than I expected, which was a relief. Immediately after, my gums were a bit sore and I felt a bit uncomfortable eating, but with consistent use of ice packs and prescribed medication, I quickly recovered. From the afternoon of the same day, I was able to resume my normal daily routine, speaking and engaging in light activities without any major issues.
After two days, the pain was almost gone, and the dull pain in my molars that had been pressing on my wisdom teeth was gone, so I was really satisfied.
