I received scar treatment and dermal regeneration surgery at Remember Dermatology Clinic in Jung-gu, Seoul.

A while ago, I posted about my concerns about shingles blisters scars.

Even if you look at the picture, it's obvious, but in person, it's even more obvious.

The scar was bright, so it couldn't be covered with makeup, and the skin in that area was thin, so strangely, acne would often appear near my eyebrows, and I had a lot of difficulties and stress.

 

 

I knew there were laser treatments for scars and fillers for the affected area, but I was hesitant to get those treatments because the area was my eyebrows...

So I looked into it and found out that there is something called dermal regeneration!

Dermal regeneration is not a procedure that involves exfoliating the skin with a laser, but rather using a needle to regenerate the skin.

It is said that the principle is to pull up the scarred skin tissue with a needle.

 

The dermatologist who performed this procedure was Seoul Remember Dermatology Clinic.

As far as I know, it's a dermatology clinic that hasn't been open for very long, but the interior is modern and clean.

I trusted the director because he is a dermatologist and also provides general skin care.

 

I received a consultation first and then the treatment.

After I laid down with anesthetic cream applied for about 20 minutes, the director came in and started the procedure. To be honest, it was a stinging sensation, but it wasn't unbearable.

 

There was a little bit of bleeding after the procedure, but it subsided quickly, and I was given a dressing and Duoderm applied.

 

I was told to use a moisturizing patch for two days and to avoid activities that cause my face to heat up (sauna, exercise, etc.).

It was my first time visiting this dermatologist, and I didn't have to wait long, they explained everything thoroughly, and the nurses were friendly and helpful.

The procedure was clean and quick, so overall I was very satisfied.

My second treatment is in two weeks and I'm already excited to see how much better my scars will look.
