Jongno Asan Orthopedic Surgery is a hospital located right in front of Exit 1 of Jongno 3-ga Station.
This wasn't the orthopedic clinic I used to go to.
At the time, I was walking wearing rubber-soled sneakers and I slipped and fell because I didn't see the standing water.
It's almost like your knees are planted on the cement floor.
On the day I got hurt, I thought it was just a simple scratch, but as time passed, it started to swell, pus started to form, and blisters even formed.
I haven't fallen like this since elementary school, and it really hurt.
At first it was fine, but from the evening onwards, my knees started to swell and I had difficulty bending and straightening them, so I went to the hospital in a hurry because I was worried that my bones might have been injured.
When I tried to rush to the hospital in the afternoon, most of the patients were still receiving treatment, but registration was closed.
Then, I searched and found this place.
When I called, it was around 5:30, and they asked me to come by 6:20 at the latest.
I was so glad that there weren't many orthopedic clinics open until 7 o'clock.
So I went right after I hung up the phone.
Maybe because it was a weekday, there was no wait, so I went straight into the examination room.
First, I took an X-ray, and fortunately, there was no problem with my bones, but my ligaments were damaged, so I was told that I would need to wear a brace, receive physical therapy, and take medication.
There were two directors, and I received treatment from the representative director.
While looking at my X-rays together, he pointed out each part, saying, "This is why it hurts," and even showed me the information on the monitor while explaining it to me.
You were very kind!
For physical therapy, I received cryotherapy first, then ice packs, and low-frequency and laser treatment for 15-20 minutes.
The physical therapists are also very kind and without any mannerisms.
The knee skin injury was treated by a nurse in the treatment room.
As soon as he saw me, he said my legs were really swollen and that I must have been in a lot of pain, and kindly dressed me up!
The brace seemed to work by fixing the upper and lower parts of the knee and calming the ligaments.
After that, I received physical therapy and went to the hospital for about two more weeks.
Fortunately, it was just a bruise and got better after about a month.
First of all, the director examined me thoroughly, so I was able to understand the treatment well even though I have no medical knowledge.
The treatment went well, although the scab marks are now slightly discolored.
I recommend Jongno Asan Branch to those who live nearby or need to visit the hospital after work.
