Question) LASIK and LASEK. When do you choose to perform each procedure?

Since I have good vision apart from presbyopia, I never felt the need for LASIK or LASEK.
People still ask if I have had LASIK surgery. I don't think I've ever seen anyone ask if I had LASIK.
What is the difference between LASIK and LASEK?
