Is the recurrence rate high for cataracts?

My grandmother said her eyes felt strange, so we took her to a well-known hospital in town, and they said she has cataracts. I only thought it was presbyopia, so I was quite surprised to hear it was cataracts. They said surgery is necessary, so she had the surgery. She hasn't experienced any special side effects after the surgery yet, but I'm worried it might recur. I'm curious if cataracts tend to come back easily. I also want to know how to take care of her after the surgery.
