How long did your calluses stay soft after the removal procedure?

Lately, I've noticed some rough and hardened areas on the soles of my feet, so I'm paying extra attention to taking care of my calluses.  Even though I usually apply moisturizer consistently, I felt like the dead skin on the sole of one foot in particular built up thickly, so it seemed like home care alone had its limits. .

I've looked into foot files and exfoliating products, but I'm worried that scrubbing too often might irritate my skin more. , I heard that old calluses can also be removed at a dermatology clinic, so I'm considering it.

For those of you who have received callus removal treatment, did your skin become noticeably softer after just one session? ?
