How do I manage stretch marks?

I have stretch marks on my thighs and stomach. What kind of treatment can I get to manage them?

Can stretch marks also be removed with lasers or procedures?

I have stretch mark cream and things like that at home, and I bought this intending to apply it consistently, but it's really hard to do so...

I'm curious if anyone has seen results with stretch mark cream.
I'm also curious about the procedure.

I didn't used to care much about stretch marks, but now that I'm getting older, they look really unsightly.
