Did your photos look better after getting a dermatological procedure?

I've become interested in dermatological procedures lately, so I've been looking up reviews. I've noticed that surprisingly many people say the changes are more visible in photos than in the mirror.

I tend to be particularly conscious of my skin texture and facial contours when looking at selfies or photos taken by others, so I am curious if my photogenic appearance really improves after the procedure.

For those who have actually undergone the procedure, did you notice a significant difference when comparing the before and after photos? I am curious whether it was something only you noticed, or if people around you could also see the difference.
