Has anyone experienced hyperpigmentation after laser treatment?

I want to get laser treatment at a dermatology clinic for blemishes, freckles, and enlarged pores, but my biggest concern is hyperpigmentation.

Looking at the reviews, while there are many people who say their skin became clearer, I also frequently see posts from those who were actually stressed because the marks became darker or discolored brown after the procedure.

In particular, since my skin is on the sensitive side, I am worried that getting the procedure might make things worse.
