[Question] Can the dark dark spots on the back of my hand be completely removed with a laser?

My family member has a fairly large dark spot on the back of their hand. The brown spot that appeared on the back of the hand was small at first, but as time goes by, it seems to be getting slightly bigger and darker in color.

I heard that these don't come out well with regular lasers for freckles or blemishes.

Is it possible to remove it cleanly without scarring?

I am also curious about what type of laser is used to treat such dark lentigines, and how many sessions are required to see results.

I also want to know how long the recovery period takes.
