What do you think of melasma removal procedures?

Lately, it seems like the melasma on my face has gotten darker, so I am looking into melasma removal procedures.

When I search online, there are so many types of lasers, and I am confused because some places say that melasma removal treatments require multiple sessions, while others say it improves quickly.

I saw a post saying that melasma removal is done with the Repot Laser, and I'm wondering if it applies to melasma as well.

What should I check first at the clinic before starting a melasma removal procedure?
