It's been over a month since my under-eye fat repositioning, but my dark circles are still visible.

Before the surgery, I was self-conscious about the puffiness under my eyes and dark circles, so I thought getting under-eye fillers would brighten up my appearance a bit.

The swelling seems to have almost completely subsided, and the shape of my under-eyes looks much more natural than before, but when I actually look in the mirror, I can still see my dark circles, so it bothers me for no reason.
I thought that under-eye fat repositioning would improve dark circles to some extent as well, but could pigmentation or skin issues be separate matters?

Has anyone else had under-eye fat repositioning and still has dark circles even after more than a month? I am curious if they improved over time, or if you received any separate care or procedures.
