If I have under-eye fat repositioning, can I still do my under-eye makeup like I used to?

I think adding a slight shadow under my eyes makes my face look more defined than having a flat under-eye area, so I tend to apply a little shading regularly.
However, I realized that since the bulging and sunken areas under the eyes can change after fat redistribution, using the same makeup techniques as before might actually accentuate the shadows even more. 👀
I'm wondering if I need to get my under-eye makeup redone after the procedure.

- 01CommentsSince the area under the eyes shows movement clearly when smiling or speaking, natural expressions are important as well as a static appearance. During the consultation, it would be best to review before-and-after photos of various expressions and plan the procedure in a way that does not compromise your original impression.200026.11.05
- 02CommentsAfter lower eyelid fat repositioning, you must be careful to avoid applying pressure to the area around your eyes while swelling subsides and tissues heal. Since direct pressure from nose pads on the surgical site can cause discomfort or affect recovery, the timing of when you can wear glasses depends on the surgical method and your recovery status. Generally, it is safest to wait until your medical team advises that it is safe to wear them. If you have a return to work schedule, please consult with your doctor about the issue of wearing glasses before the surgery.140026.11.05

- 01CommentsThe recommended treatment for under-eye issues varies depending on whether the problem is due to hollowness, shadows caused by protruding fat, or hyperpigmentation. If under-eye fat repositioning is too daunting, it would be beneficial to first accurately identify the cause and explore other options. If you are concerned about hollowness under your eyes, it is important to consider the thickness of the skin and the amount of fat before making a decision, rather than simply choosing lifting or fillers. Under-eye fillers can also cause bruising, swelling, or unevenness, so they are not necessarily the safest option. If hyperpigmentation is the primary cause, other treatments such as laser therapy may be considered. Since treatment varies depending on the cause, please consult a specialist with extensive experience in treating under-eye conditions.510026.10.28
- 02CommentsIf you do not have much fat under your eyes, it is better to identify the cause of the shadows first rather than considering surgery immediately. I have heard that the appropriate method varies depending on whether the issue is due to a sunken tear trough, thin skin, or pigmentation. Since the skin under the eyes is thin, please consult carefully before proceeding with any procedures.390026.10.31
- 03CommentsUnder-eye fat repositioning can help alleviate unevenness in cases where under-eye fat bulges out or the tear trough appears sunken. Since wrinkles that form when smiling are related to skin elasticity and the movement of the orbicularis oculi muscle, fat repositioning alone cannot improve them completely. It is important to consult with a doctor before surgery to check the condition of the under-eyes both when the face is expressionless and when smiling.501026.10.30
- 01CommentsI totally relate to the stress of those unevenness that even concealer can't cover 🥹 Since there is no skin incision under the eyes (conjunctiva incision), my under-eye bags haven't disappeared at all; in fact, my under-eye area looks smoother and much more vibrant! If you rest well over the weekend after the surgery on Friday, you'll be able to lightly cover it up with makeup for work on Monday haha. I hope you get a thorough consultation and that everything goes beautifully for you!1843226.10.06
- 02CommentsUnder-eye fat repositioning is a surgical procedure that improves the contours of the under-eye area by redistributing protruding fat to sunken areas. Swelling and bruising typically last for about 1 to 2 weeks, and patients often return to their daily activities within a few days to 1 to 2 weeks, depending on their condition. Fat grafting can be considered when volume is lacking not only under the eyes but also in the surrounding areas, but it is not necessary for everyone. If you frequently rub your eye area due to contact dermatitis, it is advisable to treat the inflammation and itching first, and to have your skin condition and fine wrinkles diagnosed as well. Since fat repositioning alone cannot resolve skin wrinkles or pigmentation, it is best to make a decision after a thorough consultation.1611026.10.10
- 03CommentsSince swelling occurs for about four weeks after lower eyelid fat repositioning, your eyes may feel different than usual when you smile. It is best not to judge the results too early, as the area under your eyes may appear puffy or look asymmetrical when you smile. During the consultation, please show photos of yourself smiling broadly as well as photos of yourself with a neutral expression, and make sure to confirm whether the fat can be removed without excess and the connection to the tear trough can be natural.734326.10.23
