One side of my face looks more saggy than the other. Should I get a face lift?
Lately, I’ve been concerned that one side of my face, including my cheek and jawline, looks a bit more saggy than the other. My face has always been slightly different in shape, but recently, as my skin elasticity has decreased, the difference feels much more pronounced. Especially when I take photos, one side of my face feels like it has dropped noticeably lower, so I am considering getting a lifting procedure.
However, since lifting procedures are usually perceived as treatments for the entire face, I am wondering if it is possible to effectively improve sagging on only one side. I am concerned that treating both sides identically might leave the asymmetry intact or, conversely, accentuate it. I would like to know if the treatment area or intensity can be adjusted differently depending on the degree of sagging on each side.
I am curious about the experiences of those who have received a face lift because one side of their face appeared saggy. Please let me know if the jawlines or cheek heights actually leveled out slightly after the procedure, or if there was no significant difference as expected. I would also appreciate your advice on what to focus on during the consultation if, like me, one side of the face is more of a concern.
