After watching videos of idols' pre-debut skincare routines, I finally decided on a lifting procedure.
Lately, I watched a video on YouTube called "Pre-debut Management for Idols." A former idol trainee appeared and shared stories about the industry. I started watching it without thinking much, but before I knew it, I had watched it all the way to the end.
After reading the details, I realized that the smooth, shiny face we see on screen wasn't just something she was born with. Even before her debut, she went all out, getting plastic surgery as a given, along with skin treatments and body care—she was clearly determined to take care of herself.
But when the topic of hormone injections came up in the middle of the conversation, oh my, that really surprised me. I can usually get over skin care or procedures, but the thought of them messing with my hormones really scared me. I guess it’s because I’m the kind of person who squeezes my eyes shut even when getting my blood drawn.
It made me feel a bit sorry for them to see such young kids already receiving such care, but on the other hand, I understood it because I realized that going to such lengths is what gives them those looks.
Anyway, after watching the whole video, I felt like I sorted things out. The scale of management between those friends and me is fundamentally different, and I realized it's right for me to just do things within limits that don't push me too hard.
So, I think a simple lifting procedure is enough this time as well. Something that gently smooths out sagging lines without causing too much irritation—that’s just enough for me.
For those of you who are as timid as I am but still want to take care of yourselves, what do you usually start with for your first lifting treatment? I'm asking because I'm curious.
