I’m going to write a record of the skin care treatment I received last month.
Maybe it's because I've been a bit exhausted from work lately, but every time I look in the mirror, I keep feeling like my face looks more saggy.
While looking into lifting procedures that show sudden and immediate changes I saw something called Portra Lifting at a dermatology clinic in Hongdae, made an appointment, and went there.
I had exactly three concerns before the procedure.
✔️ Nasolabial folds
✔️ Skin sagging
✔️ Sunken cheeks (tends to have little facial fat)
I had already tried InMode and Shurink, and I was just hesitating about Ulthera or Thermage because of the cost and pain.
So, at first, I was constantly searching for reviews of titanium lifting, but when I heard about Portra Lifting, which is an upgraded version of titanium lifting, I immediately started looking into it.
Looking at the description, it said it was a Quattro Lifting that outputs four wavelengths simultaneously, and it stated that it delivers up to 10mm to stimulate retaining ligaments and induce collagen production.
Actually, what caught my eye the most was that the contact cooling system reduces pain and allows for treatment without anesthesia.
Because I had memories of thinking, "I can't get this again," while getting lifting and Rejuran injections in the past, the pain was the most important factor for me.
Now that I've actually received it It was a bearable pain. It was to the point where I thought I could get it again.
I made a reservation and visited. While waiting, I noticed it was quite crowded, and I saw quite a few foreigners as well.
Before the consultation, I first had a photo taken with a machine for a 3D precision diagnosis, and then proceeded with the photo shoot after washing my face.
It provided a more detailed analysis than I expected, covering tear troughs, pigmentation spots, fine lines under the eyes, forehead wrinkles, under-eye fat, neck wrinkles, nasolabial folds, pores, double chin, jawline, and more.
They also compared me based on the average for my age, and it showed that my wrinkles and redness are in good condition, but since my skin is on the thinner side, I need to manage my dark circles, pores, and forehead wrinkles.
They didn't recommend any additional procedures, and simply explained what kind of care would be best for the future.
It is best to focus on lifting the nasolabial folds while looking at the results sheet. I have facial asymmetry He said he would perform the procedure by matching both sides differently.
We decided to proceed with the Portra lifting at 80KJ.
Needs: Nasolabial fold lifting (1st priority), jawline lifting
up face: forehead wrinkles (lower)
mid face / low face: asymmetry (L=R)
They wrote it down like this and handed it to me.
I was a bit fascinated to hear that the actual procedure is performed based on this.
During the procedure, the head was secured and cooling was applied, so it was performed without anesthesia.
The technician first set the design while looking in the mirror, and after performing the procedure on one side, showed me the mirror immediately. I was surprised because I could feel it lifting right away at that moment.
When I looked in the mirror after only the right side was treated, I could feel the difference. Afterwards, they proceeded to the other side and performed additional treatment on the right side in separate sections to correct the asymmetry.
The procedure time was not long, and it was conducted in segments with check-ups in between.
There was a slight redness right after, but it subsided quickly after using the soothing pack.
It felt like there was almost no downtime.
The first thing I felt as soon as I received it and came out was The point was that it was immediately visible without any bruising.
When comparing my bare face with the same camera before and immediately after the procedure, I felt that my skin tone had become clearer and my skin texture had become more refined.
I felt like my skin had become firm, like I had just come out of a sauna.
On the third day, I heard the most comments from those around me saying my face looked better, and I definitely felt like my makeup was applying better.
I went for a lifting procedure, but I felt the difference in skin tone and elasticity first. I think it had an effect that you focused on the nasolabial folds and deep cheek area with customized treatment.
I was informed that changes would gradually occur starting from the second week due to collagen synthesis. Based on the photos from week 3 It may look different depending on the light, but The parts that were severely asymmetrical and The sagging feeling in the deep cheeks and nasolabial folds It felt less than before.
Looking at the side profile as well, The lines felt a bit more organized.
I was advised that it is recommended to visit about once a month, and I am currently considering whether to visit again next week.
Since it is only the third week, there are still aspects that need to be monitored further, and individual differences may exist, so it seems necessary to check the progress a bit more.
