Hongdae Dermatology Portra Lifting Review | Feel the difference in lifting in just 2-3 days with almost no pain (Buy it yourself)
I started considering Portra Lifting at Hongdae Dermatology Clinic when I started noticing wrinkles and sagging cheeks every time I took a picture.

I've often heard people say I look tired because my face looks much more realistic in camera shots than in the mirror. In particular, I've been told that my face appears to be tilted downwards and my jawline appears blurred.
At this point, I felt it was time for some management, so I decided to try Portra Lifting, known as an upgraded version of the existing titanium lifting. This isn't an advertisement; it's my own personal review.
The reasons for choosing Portralifting were clear: the relatively quick results, minimal pain and downtime, and the ability to receive it before important events.
In the process of finding out, I heard that Portra Lifting is a second-generation titanium lifting device that delivers energy to the ligaments that support the face, rather than the skin surface, to induce collagen production.
It is said that when the retaining ligaments weaken, aging symptoms such as sagging skin, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and double chins begin. Portra said that by stimulating this deep layer, you can expect an immediate lifting effect along with skin texture, elasticity, and fat reduction.
The Hongik University Station dermatology clinic I visited was located near Exit 8, and from the reservation stage onwards, the service was very calm and friendly.
Even though it was an ambiguous time on a weekday, there were quite a few reservations, and I was impressed by how they provided ample consultations without making it feel like a factory-style dermatology clinic.
I first measured my skin condition with a skin imaging device, and it showed me pores, elasticity, and asymmetry in much more detail than any device I had used before, which helped me objectively understand my skin condition.
The consultation wasn't just about deciding what treatment to receive today, but it felt like they were creating a comprehensive care routine based on my skin condition, figuring out what problems I had and in what order to improve them.
Based on my skin type, I was told that I could consider Rejuran to improve the dermal environment, peeling and needle RF for sebum and pore management, Inmode FX and fat dissolving injections for contouring and elasticity, and laser lifting.
Among them, this time I wanted to experience an immediate change, so I did the Portra Lifting alone.
Before the procedure, I rechecked my areas of concern. I used Portra 80KJ, prioritizing the lower jawline, marionette lines, and double chin, followed by the forehead and cheek lift. Forehead wrinkles weren't a major concern, so I excluded them. The doctor also considered left-right asymmetry and distributed the energy accordingly.
To be honest, I was a little nervous before the procedure. I had a preconceived notion that lifting would be painful. However, when I actually got it, I felt almost no pain.
The treatment was cool throughout, so there was almost no burning or tingling sensation, and it was quick and comfortable. Compared to my previous titanium lifting, the pain was significantly less, and the experience was actually more comfortable.
Immediately after the procedure, my face was slightly red, but there was minimal bruising or swelling. I was able to wash my face and resume my daily routine immediately, and I felt like it wasn't an exaggeration to say there was virtually no downtime.
After the procedure, my entire face felt tighter and my contours felt more defined.
They said that the effects of Portralifting would increase over time, and that was indeed the case.
The day after the procedure and the second day after, people around me started telling me that my face looked good, and it looked so natural that I couldn't even tell what I had done.
The difference was especially noticeable on the third day, in the photos below. With the jawline and cheeks tightened, my face looked firmer overall, giving the impression of improved condition.
Personally, the biggest advantage of Portralifting that I felt was that it was not noticeable but definitely looked good.
It would be especially suitable for those who want to improve their facial condition before an important event without the burden of pain or downtime, or for those who want a natural lifting effect before a wedding snapshot or wedding ceremony.
However, since energy and area design are important depending on the degree of facial sagging and skin condition, we recommend that you receive sufficient consultation before making a decision.
Portra Lifting is a lifting procedure that best fits the expression, “It’s not noticeable, but it’s definitely better.”

If the grooves themselves are deeply indented, filling them with fillers is effective for immediate improvement. On the other hand, if the wrinkles are caused by sagging cheek skin, lifting them with Ultherapy or thread lifting provides a more natural look. I recommend consulting with a clinic to accurately determine the cause and making a comprehensive decision.231026.10.29

Since the sensation is more of a warm heat rather than a tingling sensation, many people receive the treatment comfortably without anesthetic cream. It is also a highly satisfying procedure for defining the double chin and deep cheek lines.160026.10.29
- 03CommentsRather than mixing up various procedures from the start, I think it would be better to start with just the one area you are most concerned about. I would probably start by consulting about the part that bothers me the most when I look in the mirror.190026.10.29
- 01CommentsI also looked for lifting creams before getting a consultation. I could definitely feel the hydration when I applied them, but I didn't really notice any significant improvement in my pores. However, since consistently moisturizing and taking good care of your skin's condition through sun protection helps, I think it would be a good idea to start with home care rather than expecting dramatic results.500026.10.18
- 02CommentsRadiofrequency or ultrasound lifting is a procedure you can comfortably receive at any time, largely regardless of the season. However, during the summer, your skin is easily irritated by sweat and strong UV rays, so you need to pay extra attention to soothing and sun protection. Conversely, in winter, managing dryness is essential, so you must provide thorough moisturizing care. Rather than focusing on the season, I recommend getting the treatment on a weekend or during a break when you have no important schedules.464026.10.23

When you hit a plateau, slightly adjusting your usual diet or adding light strength training to boost your basal metabolic rate are good solutions. I hope you don't give up and continue with your healthy routine!1495026.10.26

Its major advantage is that it delivers high-frequency elasticity to the necessary areas while minimizing concerns about cheek hollowing. Satisfaction is high as you can expect both overall skin texture improvement and tightening effects. I hope this helps with your decision regarding the procedure.1942026.09.30
- 02CommentsI see you were very curious about the downtime for the Onda Lifting procedure due to concerns regarding jawline elasticity. While individual differences exist, the Onda Lifting generally causes minimal bruising or swelling, so only slight redness usually occurs on the day of the procedure. You can apply makeup and resume your daily activities without any issues the following day, so please feel free to schedule a consultation.781026.10.09
- 03CommentsIf it were me, I would start by getting the procedure that is your top priority. If your biggest concern is sagging facial contours, I would recommend Ultherapy; if you are more concerned about dull skin, fine lines, or loss of elasticity, I would suggest consulting about Thermage first. Then, observe the results for about two months and proceed with treatments to address any remaining issues. Rather than getting both procedures at once, I think it is better to try one first, taking your skin condition into account!932126.10.21
