I've been working a lot on the computer for the past few days, and I feel like I've developed a stiff neck and shoulder. I've been too busy to go to the hospital, but this morning, the pain was so severe that I had no choice but to go to a nearby Korean medicine clinic. First, I lay face down on the bed and received acupuncture. Next, they applied a cupping therapy, which was quite painful, perhaps because it was my first time. Still, my neck pain seemed to be gradually improving, which was reassuring. After leaving the treatment room, the nurse recommended various healing therapies, including full-body heat therapy and air massage, all free of charge. Although I was busy, I decided to try them since I was already at the hospital. It was more satisfying than I expected. The heat therapy was especially wonderful, as it seemed to loosen up my body, which had been stiff from overwork for days.
