When is the best time for children to get orthodontic treatment?

Now, 4th and 6th grade elementary school children...

It seems both need orthodontic treatment. When would be the best time to do it?

I did my orthodontic treatment late.

It seems like it took a little over a year even after getting braces as an adult and having teeth extracted.

Children probably have a longer correction period and will do it.

I'm wondering when the best time to do it would be.

For some reason, I think kids might dislike it more if it's done during adolescence...

I'm curious about the right timing.
