I'm curious about implant pain and daily life.

How severe is the pain after getting an implant? According to friends, it varies from person to person, but I'm very scared and nervous. Also, how long does it usually take to return to normal daily activities? I had some trouble with a tooth I previously had crowned, so I think I need an implant, but I'm worried. I'm also scared of tooth extraction. If anyone has experience, please share your stories^^
