Are implants used for a lifetime? How to maintain them regularly?

Because my gums were weak, I had a tooth extracted and eventually received an implant in my mid-30s.

It has been in good use for a relatively long period so far.

According to my internet search, they consider about 10 years as the basic lifespan.
