You should have taken good care of it if you didn't want an implant!!
If you hit this with something like a stone, you should take an X-ray. Also, if a crown or something similar is placed on it, you need to use it carefully. Proper management is necessary to avoid having to get implants or similar procedures.
This is a story about getting an implant procedure quite recently.
When I was very young, I was playing with neighborhood kids and got hit in the front tooth by a stone. I thought it was just painful (since I got hit by a stone..) and lived without any major problems for 20 years. Then I went to the dentist due to a cavity problem, and an unexpected issue arose. It was diagnosed that there was inflammation in the lower part of the front tooth that was hit by the stone. Treatment was necessary. An unanticipated root canal treatment began. The inflammation was removed, and the tooth was ground down very small, then covered with a crown.
Anyway, the treatment was completed after the situation was managed, but I had no basic knowledge that the teeth I had made should be used gently. Hard fruits or vegetables like carrots also need to be eaten carefully and cautiously, but I tore into even ribs recklessly. Fortunately, I used it for about 8 years, and considering how recklessly I used it, 8 years is not a very short time. Of course, after 8 years, problems arose. Even the capped teeth collapsed.
It was the beginning of implants.
First, I had to visit the hospital to get an estimate, and because I am not very diligent, I decided on the dental clinic my acquaintance was also visiting for implants without comparing the costs of implant procedures at various hospitals. My acquaintance kindly explained everything to me. I understand that I received the implant at a reasonably affordable price. The process of the implant has been completed.
Another time, I had inflammation, so I scraped out the inflammation, extracted the remaining tooth, and placed a post... It wasn't very painful, but it took a very long time, and during that time, my front tooth was empty, which was quite noticeable.
Anyway, after going through all the procedures, the implant has been completed, and I am now using it very carefully.
Each part of the body is important in its own way, but this is especially important. Haha. So, I am diligently using the toothbrush recommended by the hospital for implant procedures, and I am also carefully brushing the implant area with interdental brushes, which I hadn't used much before.
