I'm worried because my tooth is hurting.

I originally have a severe malocclusion genetically. My dad and grandfather also have it, so I have a severe malocclusion as well, but I haven't undergone orthodontic treatment separately. However, my teeth are not very white and are somewhat yellowish. In the past, I tried whitening products sold on home shopping channels that claim to make teeth white, but they didn't work well.
