I'm curious about teeth whitening.

One of the things I've always wanted to do is LASIK, LASEK, and teeth whitening!! Coincidentally, a teeth whitening board has been created, so I’m asking here haha. Is it also difficult and hard to maintain teeth whitening before and after? I'm also curious about the cost.. and the duration of the results..? I know it varies from person to person, but.. And once you do it, do you see the effects immediately, or do you need to do it multiple times to see results? haha. Of course, doing it periodically would be better, right..? Just like everything else..
