Front tooth orthodontics

I get a scaling done once a year for my dental care. Maybe that's why I feel like my front teeth keep spreading apart?! In the past, when I smiled brightly, my gums showed completely and my teeth looked beautiful, but now my front teeth are spreading apart, and I find it so unpleasant to smile... Can I correct the gap caused by orthodontics? I want to smile widely and take photos without worrying like I used to.
