Implant cap handle(?)

Last year, I had an implant procedure, and there is a small handle(?) attached to the edge of the covered implant.

You mentioned leaving that part so that the implant can be easily removed if a problem occurs later. Is this a common practice?

They said they would remove it if it was bothersome, but it was really difficult to put the lid on tightly (which is understandable to fit it perfectly without gaps), so removing and reattaching it is a bit bothersome.

It's not all day, but I do get concerned from time to time, and above all, I'm worried about foreign objects getting stuck.

What do you think is the best way to do it?
