Most people who get laminates are young, but are there reasons why older people are not recommended?

Is it because older people are concerned about appearance or something like that?

As you get older, your gums become much weaker.

Is it related to the gums as well?

If laminate veneers are not possible, what procedure is performed when the front teeth are spaced apart?
