The child received orthodontic treatment because of severe malocclusion.
My upper teeth protruded so severely that I couldn't even break the noodles to eat them.
They say it's because I breathe through my mouth while sleeping.
I underwent about a year of orthodontic treatment to reshape my upper teeth from a V-shape to a U-shape.
Then, after extracting the molar, I started orthodontic treatment.
My teeth were also a complete mess with zigzag patterns.
The orthodontic treatment that started in upper elementary school was completed by the second year of middle school.
The socially tragic COVID-19 pandemic was somewhat helpful for children because the masks made it less obvious that they were undergoing orthodontic treatment, so they seem to have smoothly gotten through adolescence.
Now that the tedious orthodontic treatment is over, my once disliked teeth have become so beautiful that I feel the worth of the money spent.
But that's not the end; I heard that you need to properly wear the prosthesis during sleep for the correction period and also wear the daytime prosthesis properly.
Otherwise, it could get messed up because of the tendency to want to go back...
Teacher Bareun at the dental clinic and nurse, thank you so much for your kindness over the past four years. Thanks to you, my child was able to undergo difficult treatments well.
Now I just need to take good care of the follow-up~^^
