[Concern] Has anyone had an implant procedure despite having weak gums?

My in-laws on my husband's side all have weak gums. My husband also has good teeth, but his gums are weak, so his teeth are falling out. Some dentists say implants are difficult, while others say they are possible.

Has anyone here experienced the procedure?
