I looked into the implant process, could you please check if this is the right process for me?

 

1. Consultation and Diagnosis

I heard that in order to receive implant surgery, I need to first get a consultation and diagnosis?

 

2. Surgery

Is implant surgery a surgery that extracts teeth and places implants?

 

3. Osseointegration period

The period during which an implant successfully integrates with the gum bone is called the osseointegration period. This period typically takes about six months for the maxilla and three months for the mandible.

During this period, it is recommended to wear temporary dentures and not use your teeth!

 

4. Fabrication and installation of prosthetics

After the osseointegration period, the final prosthesis is fabricated and fitted.

 

I've looked into it like this, but are these four processes correct?

I haven't tried implants before, so I'm not sure if this process is right for me.
