Precautions when applying laminate

Laminate is definitely not "rapid tooth correction."
When removing laminate prostheses, it is common to see the underlying teeth heavily ground down.

This procedure is done to straighten the 12 front teeth.
As a side effect of severely grinding down the front teeth like this, tooth sensitivity occurs.

There may be cases where additional root canal treatment to remove the nerve of the tooth is required.
Additionally, secondary cavities tend to develop easily after laminate procedures.

Food debris gets trapped between the back surface of the tooth and the edge of the veneer where the boundary between the tooth and the veneer has formed.
