I have a question regarding orthodontics.

My child recently started orthodontic treatment. At first, I only thought about the teeth becoming straight, but now that it has actually started, I have so many questions as a parent.

I am wondering what is the best way to care for my child's teeth while they are undergoing orthodontic treatment. I am particularly worried about cavities because food seems to get trapped easily around the braces. Should they get regular scaling during the treatment?

Please let me know if there are any specific areas parents should pay attention to during orthodontic treatment, or ways to help the child maintain the treatment well.
