I used to think that brushing well was enough, but realizing that invisible tartar had accumulated made me wonder if I hadn't been taking care of my teeth enough. In particular, the unpleasant aftertaste couldn't be resolved by brushing alone, so it seemed that professional scaling treatment was necessary. Honestly, deciding on dental treatment is difficult when you see reviews about pain or sensitivity, but since it is a place I frequent and trust, I consulted with them and proceeded with the scaling. Contrary to my worries, the procedure, which followed the clinic's recommendation, was surprisingly comfortable as there was absolutely no pain. It stung a little, but during the thorough scaling process, something that I assumed was old tartar was falling away. After the scaling procedure was finished, I definitely felt that my mouth was cleaner and lighter than before. Just the fact that the back of my teeth, where the tip of my tongue touches, had become smooth was enough to make me realize the benefits of scaling. It felt refreshing and satisfying, so I plan to continue getting it done regularly in the future.
