Do I need to replace my amalgam teeth?

I have a molar that was treated with amalgam when I was young.

I don't have any particular pain or discomfort right now.

There was a brief controversy regarding the harmfulness of amalgam, but it was concluded that there were no major issues.

Should I still switch to a different prosthesis for safety?

It's a resin inlay.
