Is there a big difference between a pediatric dental clinic and a general dental clinic?
While looking into dental care for my child, I discovered that there are separate clinics called "kids' dental clinics." Since there are plenty of regular dental clinics, I am wondering if children absolutely must go to a kids' dental clinic.
I thought that kids' dental clinics might be a bit more comfortable to treat since they specialize exclusively in children, but I would like to know if sufficient treatment is available at general dental clinics. I am also curious if there is a significant difference in treatment methods or how children are treated.
Since this is my child's first time visiting the dentist, I am feeling extra nervous. I would appreciate advice from those with experience on whether I absolutely need to choose a kids' dental clinic, or if a regular dental clinic that treats children well would be fine.
