My gums are in really bad condition.

My gums were in very bad condition, so I had three implants done a few years ago.

 

However, even after that, my gums haven't been getting better and seem to be getting worse.

 

Three other teeth besides the implanted tooth

The condition is a bit poor.

 

Sometimes, drinking cold water is so bad that it makes my teeth sensitive.

 

It's not like my teeth are very loose, though.

When I visited the hospital before, they advised me to have the tooth extracted and get an implant. Do I still need to have it extracted and get an implant even if the tooth isn't loose?

I'm wondering what to do.
