My jaw is clicking, is this okay?

At some point, when I open my mouth, I hear a clicking sound from my jaw.

It doesn't hurt or anything when I hear the sound.

At first, when I opened it ten times, it made a sound once or twice.

Now, I think I can hear the sound seven or eight times if I open it ten times.

I heard people around me making noises and they said that the noise was caused by a problem with the temporomandibular joint.

I only hear noises and I don't feel any discomfort at all. Should I get tested and get treatment?
