When I was actively running marathons, I saw health information indicating that bending the big toe towards the middle toe is considered a disease. I haven't run marathons and only jogged 10 kilometers once or twice a year for over 10 years. After retiring and not exercising during COVID, I noticed that my big toe has become like that.
Sometimes I experience a sudden stabbing pain as if a muscle is tightening, but it doesn't cause any problems in daily life. I'm wondering if I should just leave it alone or if I need surgery. If I live carefully in the future, will it be okay?
