Manage blood sugar by eating multigrain rice instead of white rice.
It seems like we hardly ever cook plain white rice at home.
Since I was young, whenever my mom cooked rice, she always mixed in at least one type of whole grain.
Back then, I would pick out and eat only the parts I liked because I didn't want to eat the rest.
Now that I think about it, there was a reason for everything.
Eating only refined rice can raise blood sugar levels and is not good for health.
So, since I started cooking rice myself until now
I usually avoid plain white rice and eat multigrain rice instead.
At first, the children preferred plain white rice, but now they also eat multigrain rice well.
Actually, I thought it was strange on days when white rice was served at school.
I manage my blood sugar by eating multigrain rice for health.
