Since rice is the staple food that remains unchanged even when side dishes or special dishes change, we pay a lot of attention to rice.
Our family rarely eats white rice, considering health. We usually only eat it during holidays or when dining out.
It must be multigrain rice.
The additional ingredients in multigrain rice vary depending on the season and each time, but it's not just one or two; several different ingredients are included.
Originally, I only added oats, but now I include kamut and all kinds of beans... the variety of ingredients has become very extensive.
To reduce the texture of only the auxiliary ingredients, hard grains like rice are soaked in advance, and beans are blanched and frozen beforehand to be added later.
