Is there any way to improve my recurring contact dermatitis?
2025.08.16 02:23
I've had contact dermatitis for about 10 years now.
It was okay when I was young...
It got better, then relapsed, and then came back again... It became chronic.
When I went to the hospital, they prescribed medication for contact dermatitis, but it was oral steroid medication and steroid ointment.
Now I'm wondering if it's right to take medicine every time my contact dermatitis flares up.
Even if you take medicine, it only works for a short time.
I feel anxious because I think that too many steroids are being put into my body, and I also hear negative things like that if you stop taking steroids, you will rebound, and that contact dermatitis can turn into rosacea dermatitis, so I get really stressed out.
My diet is average. I don't drink or smoke, and I don't eat bread much, maybe once every two weeks.
Especially these days, it's so hot that I put on a neck cooler, and red spots started appearing on my neck right where the neck cooler touched.

When I put a patch on my arm because it hurts, it comes up on my arm too.
I used eye patches and a nose pack after a long time, and since I didn't use them before, my skin got red and irritated right awayㅠㅠ
Even the surface of my healthy skin seems to have become uneven.
I think it's my constitution, so even if it's difficult to completely cure, I want to get better.
I've always just taken medicine, but is there any other way to improve?
Anyone like me, how did you do it?
