Unable to hold urine and feces after cerebral infarction
2025.05.01 16:13
After two years of treatment at a rehabilitation hospital for a cerebral infarction, eight years have passed. Other physical activities have almost normalized, but holding in urine and stool only lasts about ten minutes at most.
There are more than a few times when I find myself in difficult situations. I do walking exercise twice a day, but I deliberately avoid places where it's hard to find a bathroom.
It has been difficult to find the restroom, and there have been one or two instances where I accidentally soiled my clothes due to this. What I am curious about is whether, after a stroke, it is fundamentally impossible to hold in urine and feces.
