[Concern] Acupuncture treatment for herniated disc in the lower back

I sprained my back while working a part-time job in logistics.

These days, I have been consistently visiting the Korean medicine clinic after work and receiving physical therapy.

Sometimes it seems like I am getting better after physical therapy, but...

When I go back to work, due to the nature of the job, I tend to lift heavy objects.

The symptoms are worsening again.

Is surgical intervention necessary instead of acupuncture and physical therapy?
